Over the past several years, Bahrain Al Arabi has completed several distinguished projects for discerning clients in Bahrain, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Qatar. The latest was the Kempinski Hotel at The Palm Jumeirah. We installed and embellished all the deluxe rooms, the public areas including the magnificent main lobby domes and lobby lounges, the ballroom, all-day restaurant, all the corridors, the business center and audiovisual/theater room.
It was in the supply and installation of the deluxe rooms and the public areas that Bahrain Al Arabi excelled. Assisting the client, Depa Interiors, we contributed to the development of these exquisite spaces. They praised our work saying. “In terms of volume, beautifully detailed ornamentation, and perfect proportions, Bahrain Al Arabi, has exceeded our expectations on every count, including timely delivery.”
We began work on the project in April 2017 and completed it in November 2018. The scale and volume of the work it entailed is impressive by any standard. We dedicated fifty skilled artisans to produce and install all the ceilings and walls of all the public areas as well as all the 32 deluxe suite rooms and Presidential Suite.
The timely delivery and high quality of our work resulted in Bahrain Al Arabi being awarded the supply and installation for 8 villas. These too were completed by October 2018 to exacting standards… in 7 months! The scope included sampling and handover for all GRG (glass reinforced gypsum) decorations on the ceilings and walls.
Once again, the clients were so impressed by our work – quality of materials, execution and finish of the intricate details of all the embellishments – that eventually they entrusted us with the jewel in the crown of the hotel. Al Arabi earned the unique opportunity of doing the special paint and the 800sqm of 23.5Karat gilding in the two main areas of the hotel. These were the spectacular main lobby with a full ornamental dome with over 800 mirrors and the lobby lounge with its impressive columns and capitals.
